Research in design, crafts and pedagogy

Research at HDK is practice-based, experimental and explorative. It is firmly rooted in the view of the designer, artist and teacher as independent, critical and driving forces in the various processes of change and development within the artistic and educational field and society at large.

At HDK issues of sustainability, globalization and social responsibility are key perspectives that inform the interaction between research, education and non-academic partners.
