Scholarships and cake ended the school year

On June 1 the school year ended at HDK with traditional strawberry cake and scholarship awards.

Music artist Jorge Alcaide both initiated and rounded off HDK's traditional ceremony. Head Ulf Dalnäs spoke and the representatives of Konstkåren invited the students to the end-of-year-party, but the greatest attention was paid to Love Jönsson, chairman of the Göteborgs Slöjdförening, and Elisabeth Billander, Konsthantverkarna, who handed out a total of 24 scholarships.

23 scholarships of SEK 10,000 were awarded by Göteborgs Slöjdforening to students and professionals:

Niels-Henry Mörck's memory from the collective funds: Simona Cavalieri (Child Culture Design)
Zachrisson's and Lindegren's fund graphic orientation: Laila Mari Brandsfjell (Design BFA)
Inga and Ove Blidberg's fund: Staffan Jonsson (Jewellery Art BFA), Therese Molin (Textile Art BFA), Fredrik Larsen (Applied Art & Design MFA, Metal Art), Tina Lehnhart (Design MFA)
Karna Asker's fund textile focus: Hanna Larsson (Crafts MFA - Textile Art)
To HC Ericsson's memory from the collective funds, graphical orientation: Linn Posse (Design BFA)
Ole Kruse's Foundation: Ania Pauser (Crafts MFA - Ceramics)
Einar Forseth's fund design focus: Clara Avatars (Design MFA)
Einar Forseth's foundation color and shaping: Michaela Kevic (Visual Arts)
Total funds: Laura Blake (Textile-Body-Spce BFA), Ana Paula Lafaire (Business & Design MFA/MA), Clara Borras Coll (Child Culture Design MFA), Sanna Wallgren (Crafts MFA, Jewellery), Sara Kallioinen-Lundgren (Ceramic Arts BFA), Jesper Aaröe (sloyd), Hanna Pettersson (Design BFA)
Lyckholm Foundation Industrial and Product Design: Robert Curran (Applied Arts MFA, Furniture Design

4 scholarships of 10,000 kr to professionals were also distributed:
Albert Ekman's memory graphic orientation: Lisa Alm & Helena Baude, Designkanalen
Karl-Ingemar Johansson's Memory Jewelry Orientation: Anna Norrgrann
Emma Jacobsson's memory textile focus: Gill Marshall-Mereus


Even Elisabeth Billander from Konsthantverkarna awarded a scholarship to Sanna Lindholm, (Crafts MFA, Jewelery Art) for the best degree project from a Swedish art university .
