Redevelopment of the Master's Programme of Business & Design

The Master’s programme of Business & Design is in a development process, and we are learning from the experiences of ten productive years in order to be at the forefront of the discipline.

If all the necessary decisions are made during spring and summer in 2019, a new Master’s of Fine Arts programme will open for applications in October 2019, launching in September 2020.

The new programme positions the designer as a maker of change and the discipline as a process for change. The programme will focus on a collaborative and embedded design practice with an artistic perspective. Through implementing the design process, students seek to understand, materialise and address complex situations within organisations, i.e. institutions, corporations, the public sector and society.

Students will further develop a deeper understanding of how design can be used for sustainable means, both on levels of organisational and social renewal. Our aim will be to develop the field of design and to critically reflect upon the role of the disruptive outsider and critical consultant as a designer who is part of an organisation.
