A cabinet as the outcome of the exploration of 2-D and 3-D. By sliding the doors with sigular pattern, new grid pattern will be created from the overlapping.
This project is also inspired from nature - the experience when you’re walking in forest, the light penetrating through arrays of trees and how the view changes as you move your steps. I transformed this visual experience to a piece of furniture for placing objects and use colors to add another layer for both objects inside and views from outside.
By sliding the doors the person participate in the functionality of the cabinet and the motion generates playfulness and interaction with the cabinet.
