Joana Gläscher: Design for Happiness
Happy people are healthier, more social, more successful and more creative.
My thesis explores positive design, an approach devoted to happiness. Placing pleasurable and meaningful experiences at the centre of all design efforts, it aims to promote people’s subjective well-being.
In order to find out how design can evoke, enable or support positive experiences, I followed the positive design process which started with the collection of stories about happy moments and ended with what I call ”Stück vom Glück” (German for piece of happiness).
