I love weird challenges

I am a happy, driven and flexible person, with a passion for design. My way to be creative is working with the mind, hands and people, to understand the what’s, how’s and why’s about a problem. I want to be challenged with different problems in dissimilar ways, to learn new things. My love for design is the variety; I want to work with everything from a pair of glasses to a car. My biggest fear is to get stuck in one place doing the same thing over and over again.

If you have the need for a designer please feel free to contact me.

Mp3-player inspired by Axcent

This is an Mp3-player inspired from my Axcent watch. It has a touch screen and is softly backlit. With built-in speakers and the choice of using headphones it gives the user the variety to listen to music to his/hers own demands.

Memory to form, form to product.

This is a rocking chair for children. The idea was to begin with an abstract feeling, like how memories affect you through life. The feeling became an orange peel kind of form, which naturally I started to see like a rocking chair for children. A place they can grow and create new memories.

Tux – Media assistant which adapts too your needs.

This is a net connected mini computer, were the software and the exterior adapts to the users interests. Like food, working schedule, sports, you tube clips or friends. It will give you suggestions on what to do if you are bored and keep track of your everyday life.

Lucky Lookie – An outdoors math game for children.

This is a math game for children that will encourage them to do tasks outside. The game will provide math tasks for example “find a circle“. The child will then find or create a solution outside and take a picture of with the built-in camera. Then the child can record himself/herself and give a few thoughts about the solution that was chosen. The inspiration was taken from a simple toilet roll, to give a natural semantics and proper size to the product suiting for children.

Avoid trash in a clothes collection campaign.

Every year second hand stores like Sweden’s “Myrorna“ throws away tons of trash collected from their clothes collection boxes. About 70 % is garbage. I noticed that the boxes are looking much like regular trashcans. Maybe people don’t throw in trash on purpose; they just can’t see the difference. So I decided to create a difference. The solution became a transparent box so the giver than see his/her gift. The box has a distinct colour, so it will “pop“ out from the surroundings. The slot is a smaller, so nothing bigger than folded clothes wont fit.

AudioSense XM – Audio product with more senses included.

Today people with hearing loss don’t have the same access to music as people with regular hearing. This project was about to change that and expand our way to sense music by incorporating more senses, such as touch and sight. This project was aimed to work on an airport. AudioSense XM is a music product that is divided in three parts. The hollow headphones make it possible for people who use a hearing aid to listen to music in another way then through regular speakers. The backpack is transforming music into vibrations and it also includes some temperature change that follows the intensity of the music. The display is guiding you threw your choice of music. It is also proving the lyrics and different music videos that change colours and theme depending on to mode of the music.
