Fredrik Färg exhibits in Berlin

Design Fredrik Färg

As a new internationally acclaimed designer Fredrik Färg, makes his first own collective show, at the DMY-Allstars exhibition, International Design Festival Berlin 3-7 June 2009. Fredrik graduated from HDK – School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg in May 2008.

The festival’s theme of the year is “Same same, but different” design that makes a difference. Fredrik Färg will show his exhibition Urban Jungle and with his new prototype Skyscrape, an magazinholder, he will create a architectural forest around a selection of his latest work, including the RE:cover collection, his cupboard, Modus:cover, recently shown at the Salone Satellite in Milan.

The design of the stand is a cooperation between Fredrik Färg and Patrick Allier, a design student at HDK – School of Design and Crafts.

The young man who designed Coat presented a remarkable number of products in Stockholm. Many of his object are made of felt and strongly influenced by traditional menswear.


Twelve master students in Design from HDK will also exhibit in Berlin. Some of the products have earlier been exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair this year.  Their theme is “Beautiful Death”.
