Open Week: City Fables: Follow the Money – Animation on loop

City Fables: Follow the Money studies, exposes and counter-narrates the public and private narratives that frame city life in Malmö from a local and global perspective. It inhabits the shadowland between fiction and documentary, while mapping and counter-mapping the current capitalist place production and the language of financialisation capitalism. The film Is there Swedish Coffee in Panama?, one of four films, addresses the politics of transfer pricing.

Open Week: Bar hund at Viktors Kaffe

Exhibition, bar and cafe in the same place. The exhibition, by students and alumni, will form part of the cafe’s interior. Open Week: Daylight and Objects – Exhibition Daniel Rybakken

This year’s winner of the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize is the lighting and furniture designer Daniel Rybakken, who also is a HDK-alumni. The development of his objects is characterised by accuracy and precision. His design processes take time – working with natural light takes time. He tests, researches, and studies tirelessly to get exactly the right feel.

HDK alumni Eva Hild is an artist, sculptor and ceramist. The exhibition offers a wide representation of Eva Hild's artistry. The sculptures' voluminous power and beauty seduce and their organic forms run in and out in infinity and create movements and flows in a play with the inside and outside.
